Step-by-step playbook

  1. Keep the Discord voice channel. Do not delete your server rituals — mute video Go Live and leave the voice channel open for banter.
  2. Install AniDachi on every machine. Each person opens /extension, chooses Add to Chrome from the official Store listing, and signs into their own Crunchyroll account before join night.
  3. Host creates a watchroom. Open the Crunchyroll episode; AniDachi detects it automatically. The host needs Plus or Pro access, including an active trial, to choose Create room. Friends can join on Free accounts.
  4. Paste the invite into Discord. Drop the AniDachi room link in the text channel next to your voice lobby so late joiners can find it.
  5. Guests join and stream locally. Friends click the invite, open the same episode, and confirm sync — Discord stays for voice only.
  6. If someone is late. Live rooms still need a shared start. Let late friends catch up on their own Crunchyroll progress, then rejoin the next episode. Async catch-up is planned, not available today.
