No. Free hosts can start limited rooms; Plus and Pro upgrade the host's room limits while friends can stay on Free accounts. Each person still needs their own Crunchyroll account to stream the video.

What's the difference between Plus and Pro?

Plus ($7.99/mo) fits regular watch nights: unlimited hosting, up to 6 people, 4 video seats, and 3 months of watch history. Pro ($14.99/mo) adds bigger rooms (up to 15 people), invite-only rooms, moderator controls, room personalization, and 12 months of history — best for club hosts and larger groups.

How is AniDachi different from Teleparty or Crunchyroll Party?

Unlike Teleparty or Crunchyroll Party, AniDachi supports asynchronous watching — friends don't need to be online at the same time. AniDachi also auto-detects anime, tracks individual watch progress, and lets you leave reactions and comments that friends see later.

What anime streaming services does AniDachi support?

AniDachi’s Chrome extension supports full watchrooms on Crunchyroll and YouTube — synced playback, chat, and async catch-up on each person’s own stream. Shorts, embeds, and homepage feeds are not supported. Netflix, Disney+, and other services are not supported yet.

Does AniDachi work on mobile?

The Chrome extension requires a desktop browser. The watchroom chat and progress tracking will be accessible on mobile via the web app in a future update.
