Free Options Compared

  • AniDachi Free: Join an active Plus or Pro host, including a trial host. Creating rooms requires your own Plus or Pro access.
  • Crunchyroll Party: Free live sync on Crunchyroll — same-time groups only.
  • Discord Go Live: Free and fast, but often blocked or low quality — prefer Discord for voice only. See can you screen share Crunchyroll on Discord.

What “Free” Usually Means

Free access differs by tool. On AniDachi it covers joining a host's live room. Each person still needs their own Crunchyroll access — AniDachi and similar tools sync the room; they do not replace streaming subscriptions.

When Hosts Upgrade

Choose Plus ($7.99/mo on monthly billing) or Pro to host. Eligible Free accounts can try Plus or Pro free for 3 days, once per account. See the plan cards for your available offer. If your offer says “No card required”, your trial ends without a charge unless you choose to enable renewal. Trials started with a card keep the terms confirmed at checkout. Changing plans or billing periods does not restart the trial. Guests keep Free accounts. Full plan details: pricing.
